How to Use Edmodo (Basics):
We are currently live in the Information Age which is filled with digital technology. To the point in where it’s an important part of our daily lives in everywhere we go, may it be at school, at home, at church and many more.
To understand it more we must know what digital technology means. According to “Victoria State Government, 2019”, Digital technology are electronic tools, systems, devices and resources that generate, store or process data. Well known examples include social media, online games, multimedia and mobile phones. Digital technology has a large impact on the society because it plays roles in the factors that affects the society.
A large example of this is social media. According to “Emarsys, 2019”, about 3.5 billion are daily active users which is about 45% of the entire population of Earth.
Many people are easily influenced by current trends that can be seen in social media. It gives an easy way when it comes to communicating with each other. People can do messages, voice, and video calls all around the world in just the matter of seconds. It even helps people through easy access to transportation in apps such as Uber, Grab, etc.
Aside from using social media, the other examples of digital technology like the internet, television, and mobile phones can influence on how different countries can communicate.
Because of that people today can have immediate information on world news such as calamities and government. Travel vlogs enables other people to see the different places, history, culture, tourist spots, and kind of living of the people. Some also use video platforms to share various kinds of knowledge like cooking, and other kinds of tutorial.
Digital technology has an impact in the society as but these changes are not all positive, some of these impacts may have a negative effect on some of the community. It will keep on emerging and developing towards further discoveries and inventions. People may use it as a way to find solutions to problems or create problems. In the end, I could say that digital technology will continue to be a part of this and the next generation for our world it evolving everyday.
